Lots of hypnotic looping riffs and keyboards and a drowning vocal that burbles and grumbles words that are half-spoken,half-sung against a swirling, extended hypnotic synthesised drone who manage to be simultaneously melodic and intensely industrial. This is one way to describe S/T, duo from Frankfurt, Germany. Psychedelic Hogwash, they call it themselves. Inspired by bands as diverse as Hawkwind, Legendary Pink Dots, Faust, King Crimson, and being described as the children of Krautrock, they are no matter what an exciting act. They have a special way of making theire own sound and beat and are renowned for the wonderful releases they have made themselves since they started back in 1993.
